Hunting with the Governor Raises Money for Youth and Conservation Programs
OAKLEY, KANSAS – Dec. 15, 2017 – The 7th Annual Kansas Governor’s Ringneck Classic went afield in pheasant territory around the Colby area from Nov. 16 to 19. Pheasant hunters from 12 states participated in the effort to bring awareness and dollars to wild pheasant hunting and conservation in Kansas.
Gov. Sam Brownback joined fellow hunters on Sat., Nov. 18, for a full day of walking and hunting wild pheasants. Other events included a clay shooting competition, fund-raising banquets, side-hunts and special music.
