The 2013 Kansas Ringneck Classic, which was jointly hosted by Graham and Norton Counties, has recently finalized all financial details and has given the proceeds to several beneficiaries in the area. The Northwest Kansas Classic Conservation Foundation, whose focus is to support habitat improvement and wildlife conservation in Northwest Kansas, was the lead beneficiary. A large amount of money – nearly $35,000 – was divided amongst the following four beneficiaries: Graham County Hospital Wellness Center, Graham County Medical School Scholarships, Norton County Hospital and the Friends of Prairie Dog State Park. Donations were also made to FFA chapters at the Norton Community High School and the Hill City High School, as students form those chapters helped in serving meals for the event.
